The presentation, today, includes a poem written and an epilogue attached. The prose epilogue is reflection to a friend, whom I wrote after leaving the Christian vocation of pastor, a major Christian mainline denomination saying, "We have decided you do not fit." Thankfully, I did not fit, and, thankfully, I never intended to fit. The Journey continued, and continues, with no intent to fit, but only to grow in Love, and gracefulness to all - may it be and become. Our Journey is, oddly, back to where we started and what we lost along the way - what we were trained to lose. Possibly, my words will remind you of your returning Home, too, and of the Grace that is with us, always, even when we feel completely lost. We are never alone, and there is so much more unseen than seen, along the way.

Pass me by Oh Gentle Wanderer, Let me see your back to me Lead us, I following, to the clearing yonder From this place long we have shared To that height I cannot see But some sight tells me waits O Stranger, lead me And, there, we two will rest, again, I lying in love beside you And remembering the steps that led us on Each one a piece of somewhere undiscovered While in all other places it calls us to itself Like a voice through the still dark Or a long-lost friend, forgotten, And with no light, reason and faith guides Us to another site, and after a time, O Stranger, yourself moving before, Your moving leads Elsewhere until the Voice is heard no more And we are found together In love and bliss, one, at last, Where this Journey began and I, at last, remember

So, I am in a difficult time of waiting, but feel I must go through this to find what might be waiting at the other end. I can only trust faithfulness will lead to a good outcome. Also, I feel that my life is dedicated to that openness that will allow me to speak from heart to heart to others who struggle to find context and, possibly, have to take risks in life to honor the Journey among others.
Odd, Abraham, the A[uthorized] V[ersion] of the Christian Bible says, "set out not knowing where...," and, that seems to be where the Spirit is always at for us collectively and individually.
